Part One will only introduce you to Maneja Beto's music. It will give you a sense of their sound, unique talent, songs and leave you saying "Wow, who are these guys. I need to know more."
Maneja Beto is an extremely popular Austin, Texas band. Their music is not easy to describe because it has elements of Mexican Cumbia, pop, rock, folk, "indie-en-EspaƱol" and some fusion, all blended into a mellow, upbeat, lounge and Latin sound. That is all that will be said about Maneja Beto.
View both videos and you'll see what I mean.
Part Two will be a more in depth piece which will provide insight into the Maneja Beto band members, influences and history.
Rock y Roll Radio played Maneja Beto's "Campanera" (#130) for the Memorial Day Radio Edition back in May. Check it out as well.
